So there are 2 jacket styles; single and double breasted. Both have been around equally at the same time, the single breasted jacket is more popular out of the 2 and that's what almost 80% of men wear(don't quote me on that).Personally I think they're both great styles but for some reason the popularity of the double breasted jacket has faded overtime. The key difference between the 2 jacket styles is that the double breasted jacket has more fabric coming across the chest. This makes you look slimmer and trimmer in the mid section when buttoned. Another Key difference is that it has 2 rows of buttons, the row on the left for decoration and the row on the right for buttoning.
Surprisingly my closet did not include a double breasted jacket prior to me purchasing thins lovely windowpane blazer, this purchase is one I'm really proud of.I really like how it feels when buttoned. I kept it simple by pairing it with the Navy Knit Tie. The pocket square is from a collection that I am currently working on, I cant wait to show you guys. Keep Styling!
